Staff is barely understandable in "English" and not very friendly. Chicken and broccoli dish had barely any chicken at all. Overpriced for the quantity of food. Ambiance is average. For great Thai food travel a few more miles and go to West Hartford Center to Lemon Grass. |

My best bad habit We quit cooking and always come here or order out--it's my best bad habit. Lunch is reasonable and we get way more than we pay for, and being from Bloomfield, it's a dream place. The staff knows our name, and they're always courteous and even a lot of fun. If you like your food spicy (hot!) ask for "extra spicy" or even "extra, extra spicy" -- otherwise, those dishes with a chili pepper next to them are just moderately spicy. Recommended dishes: Green curry w/ chicken, coconut prawn, Eggplant w/ Basic, Tom Yum soup |

Great Experience A friend of mine suggested we go to the Thai Palace for dinner. I have never eaten Thai food and was not sure about going. After eating there I couldn't believe how great the food was. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The atmosphere was very nice and I enjoyed the surroundings. I have been back to the Thai Palace several more times and find each meal wonderful. I highly recommend the Thai Palace. Recommended dishes: Lemon grass beef, vegetable dumplings, pineapple fried rice with chicken |

Delicious and sophisticated Thai food First visit was great-- can't wait to go back. The food leans more toward gourmet than some other Thai restaurants, and reminds me, in spirit, of Char Koon in Glastonbury. Recommended dishes: Vegetables! |

Vegans Delight We are Vegans and do not eat beef, chicken, fish, and eggs. There are not many restaurants that we can eat at. At Thai Palace besides the many dishes on the menu we can eat, the chef created vegan dishes by substituting tofu for beef, chicken, and fish. The food is excellent. The service is great. The atmosphere is elegant. Thai Palace is a restaurant that we are adding to our favorite ones. |

Outstanding Food and Friendly Service The food is excellent, and very well presented. The service is friendly and helpful, particularly to those who are unfamiliar with Thai cuisine. Those who are familiar with Thai cuisine will quickly recognize many of their old favorites. Recommended dishes: Prawn Soup, Satay, Calamari, Pla Jean (Salmon), Lemon Grass Beef |
